MASERATI LETS AMERICANS TEST ITS 778-HP GRANTURISMO FOLGORE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Maserati will host an exclusive nationwide test drive event from September 12 to 14, offering American drivers the rare opportunity to experience the full lineup of GranTurismo and GranCabrio models, including both gas-powered and all-electric variants.

The event will showcase the entire model range of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. Attendees can get behind the wheel of high-performance trims powered by Maserati's signature V6 Nettuno engine, or experience the cutting-edge performance of the Folgore, Maserati's first fully electric offering. The Folgore models feature a tri-motor electric drivetrain designed to deliver thrilling acceleration with zero emissions, bringing electric power to the forefront of Italian performance passion.

The GranTurismo reflects over 110 years of Maserati heritage, blending handcrafted Italian design with race-proven performance. This sleek 2+2 grand tourer offers a perfect balance of high-speed capability and everyday comfort, making it a true icon of automotive elegance and innovation.

Its convertible counterpart, the GranCabrio, channels that same DNA into a dynamic, open-top driving experience. Designed for those who crave the wind in their hair and the roar of performance at their fingertips, it's a bold expression of Maserati's vision of modern Italian luxury.

The GranTurismo Trofeo, powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 gasoline engine, delivers 550 horsepower, reaches a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph), and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds.

The GranTurismo Folgore, Maserati's all-electric performance coupe, boasts an impressive 778 horsepower, achieves a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph), and goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.7 seconds.

The GranCabrio Trofeo, the convertible counterpart with the same V6 engine, also produces 550 horsepower, hits a top speed of 316 km/h (196 mph), and completes the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 3.6 seconds.

Meanwhile, the GranCabrio Folgore brings open-air performance to the electric era, offering 778 horsepower, a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph), and 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration in just 2.8 seconds.
