GM's line of full-size SUVs is receiving a mid-cycle refresh for 2025, and our spy photographer just captured the sporty 2025 Cadillac Escalade V completely uncovered. The exterior design isn't a huge departure from the current Cadillac Escalade, but the photos of the cabin reveal a heavily revised dashboard featuring a curved screen that spans from A-pillar to A-pillar.
The Escalade V's new front end brings it more in line with the recently updated XT4 crossover and Cadillac's EV lineup, despite packing a fire-breathing V-8 powertrain. The horizontal lighting unit is now incredibly thin and seems to serve as the daytime running lights, with the main headlight shifted to the vertical housing below, which bears a resemblance to that of the electric Lyriq.
The grille is slightly revised and the taillights have minor changes to the LED elements, but the rear is mostly unaltered. This performance-focused V model rides on new 24-inch wheels that look to be wrapped in 285/40ZR24 Bridgestone Alenza A/S 02 tires. It'll also feature a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, which currently makes a whopping 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. That's sent to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic.
Inside of the refreshed Escalade is where the real changes are. The dashboard is fully reworked, with the current curved dual-screen setup replaced by a more gigantic curved display that stretches the entire width of the dash. This sits above a long piece of wood trim and a horizontal line of climate-control vents.
The center console has a floating design with room for storage underneath. The stubby gear-selector knob is gone too, replaced by an ornate dial and a screen that sprouts upward at a 45 degree angle. The 2025 Escalade, including the brawny V model, should begin production in the second half of 2024, so the official reveal should be imminent.
