This time I have visited Drivelife Events for the 2024 "Bakkies and Bolides". An event derived from the Cars & Coffee phenomenon where all kinds of, cars with a story come together. Not neatly behind a fence or bollards, but simply driving, which is what they were made for. A concept developed by and for petrolheads, with the aim of bringing together a very high diversity of unique cars with their owners and thus reducing the gap between the different groups of cars. During the RACE 1000 event in Germany I have filmed modified cars doing drag racing at the 1/2 Mile straight. This event is all about who got the highest top speed after 1/2 Mile!
