MANSORY GIVES THE INEOS GRENADIER A MAKEOVER

Renowned automotive tuner Mansory has turned its attention to the rugged Ineos Grenadier, giving it a makeover that screams “flashy” and “functional” in equal measure. Suddenly, the classic Land Rover-inspired Grenadier is no longer the bare-bones utilitarian vehicle. Courtesy of Mansory, this off-roader now wouldn’t look out of place among the best spiced-up G-Wagons out there.

Carbon Fiber Overload

If you’re a fan of carbon fiber, you’re in for a treat. Mansory’s Grenadier is literally draped in the stuff, from the front splitter and grille to the hood bulge and fender extensions. It’s enough to make even a G63 AMG look tame. And just in case we ever forgot who was responsible for this wild creation, the Mansory emblem is prominently displayed on the hood.

The wide fender extensions and rear bumper, made of carbon fiber of course, incorporate vents for improved airflow and cooling. Aerodynamic roof add-ons and a plethora of extra LEDs round out the exterior upgrades, giving the Grenadier Wagon a distinctive and slightly apocalyptic look.

And then, there are those wheels. The new 20-inch FV.9 alloys, wrapped in 305/50 R20 XL tires, give the Grenadier stance it deserves. Apart from the good looks, they actually provide enhanced grip for tackling any terrain.

Lifted and Ready for Adventure

While most Mansory-tuned vehicles sit much closer to the ground, the Ineos Grenadier gets a 0.8-inch lift kit. The company says it made extensive changes to the suspension to improve off-road capability. So, while this Grenadier might look like a million bucks, it’s still ready to get its tires dirty.

The BMW-sourced 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that powers the Grenadier hasn’t been overlooked in this makeover. Thanks to a remapped ECU and a new stainless steel exhaust, it now pumps out 345 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. That’s an increase of 63 horsepower and 81 lb-ft over the stock model, giving the Grenadier plenty of extra grunt to match its aggressive looks.

Leather, Carbon Fiber, and a Refrigerator

Step inside, and you’ll find a cabin that’s been completely transformed. Gone are the utilitarian, easy-to-clean plastic surfaces. Maroon leather upholstery covers almost every inch of the interior, contrasted by an Arctic White roof. The electric seats are ventilated for added comfort, and rear passengers benefit from a modified backrest angle for a more relaxed ride. But the real showstopper is the new center console between the rear seats. It hides a refrigerator and a wireless charging pad.

And, as expected, there’s plenty of carbon fiber inside as well. The center console, overhead panel, steering wheel, sports pedals, door sills, and door cards all get the carbon fiber treatment. Even the start/stop switch has been relocated to the roof liner, in a curious nod to the McLaren Senna.

The Future of Off-Roading?

Mansory unveiled its first custom Ineos Grenadier in Qatar and is ready to take orders for similar conversions. Interestingly enough, Ineos itself recently started offering bespoke builds based on the Grenadier, in apparent response to a growing demand for personalized off-roaders.

Mansory’s take on the Ineos Grenadier is as bold as it gets. It’s a vehicle that’s both luxurious and capable, flashy and functional. It’s proof that even the most rugged off-roaders can benefit from a touch of personalization. And with a refrigerator in the back, it’s also the perfect vehicle for those who like to picnic in style. Just be prepared to pay a premium for this level of exclusivity.
