NISSAN’S 2025 KICKS HITS THE ROAD WITH UPGRADED FEATURES

Nissan has unveiled their new 2025 Kicks, a small crossover SUV with style to spare. According to Car and Driver’s report about the vehicle, some highlights of Nissan’s new Kicks SUV are its more significant engine and an all-wheel drive option.

The 2025 Nissan Kicks

Car and Driver reports that the new Kicks redesign sees Nissan transforming the vehicle from an entry-level front-wheel drive hatchback into subcompact SUV territory. Their report notes that the new Kicks is wider, taller, and longer than its predecessor while sporting a “cheeky” aesthetic sensibility that the SUV announces with its unique grille and wheel arches.

The 2025 Kicks comes with S, SV, and SR trims. According to Car and Driver’s report, the SR trim will feature 19-inch wheels and “sporty-ish” interior design touches such as red stitching. Nissan also improved the ground clearance for the 2025 Kicks, up to 8.4 inches from its predecessor’s 7.0 inches.

According to Car and Driver, Nissan offers more interior space in the 2025 Kicks, which the automaker alleges includes additional cargo and rear-seat space. Regarding the 2025 Kicks technology features, the sub-compact SUV comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, which Nissan increases to two 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and a digital gauge cluster as an option for the SR trim.

The new Kicks also features driver-assistance features such as Nissan’s ProPilot Assist function. The vehicle also has the option for a panoramic sunroof. The 2025 Kicks will also sport a 10-speaker Bose audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

According to a report from Motor1, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 141 horses and 140 pound-feet of torque will power the 2025 Kicks. In addition to the all-wheel drive option that Nissan offers for the SUV through their Intelligent system, the automaker has also given the new Kicks a snow mode specializing in all-wheel drive performance on slippery surfaces.

While Nissan has yet to announce a starting price for the 2025 Kicks, Motor1’s report speculates that the new SUV will start in the mid-$20,000 range when it debuts this summer.
